The failures & shortcomings of CRM software in attempting to do Stakeholder tracking is exactly what lead us to develop StakeTracker.
Customer Relationship Management Software is well designed for the sales and customer contact process, but Stakeholder communication tracking is significantly more complex. CRM uses prospects and customers while Stakeholder management software uses Stakeholder Individuals, Stakeholder Groups, and Land Parcels as three distinct stakeholder entities. Contact information and interactions between these do change over time. The executive of a group could change, a piece of land could be sold, or associated individuals could simultaneously be a stakeholder group contact as well as an individual in their own right i.e. they wear multiple hats at the same time.
StakeTracker is specifically designed to handle these complex and changing relationships over time. Many of our customers are former CRM software users i.e. Maximizer, Salesforce.com, Microsoft CRM, etc. that called us when managing data and reporting became too problematic. Contact us for a demo and we can quickly and easily explain why!
With over 5 years and 12,000+ man-hours invested in development, enhancement and maintenance (from the ground up, as opposed to adapting less effective tools), StakeTracker has become a tried and true stakeholder management product – and one that is constantly improving as we work with clients on more complicated projects.
Through extensive field testing, SustaiNet investigated, solved and formatted various problems related to tracking complex data and commitments. As a result, dealing with complicated stakeholder data and scenarios has become a user friendly experience. We have extensively researched and met the needs of clients, including those not even on an organization’s radar at the start of projects.
Using StakeTracker allows you to take advantage of all of this knowledge and learning for you own projects. Our software can be run by your communications team with support from SustaiNet’s excellent customer service team, keeping IT resources free to focus on what they do best.
It might be. StakeTracker is designed for large, complex projects or land holdings, where stakeholder consultation occur over many years.
However, because it is designed to be easy to use and is priced based on project scale, StakeTracker can easily be configured to suit smaller projects. If your project grows, reporting and commitments become more complicated, or you develop the need to scale up for multiple projects using Staketracker puts your organization in a better position to mitigate complications and save time and money from the outset.
StakeTracker is designed to ensure all of your recorded legal commitments and obligations are met and can be verified through your reporting process based on their individual status. Of particular concern for many is ensuring strong indigenous relations and that all obligations and commitments to consult with indigenous bands are undertaken. StakeTracker’s ability to separate out the land, entitlements like trap lines, individuals, and band leadership ensure that all of the consultations and communications are clear.
One of the key time saving features of StakeTracker is its ability to import and migrate data from a wide variety of data sources, including from our customers’ existing spreadsheet systems. During the set-up phase, SustaiNet provides customers with our own spreadsheet templates and works with them to populate fields with existing data ready for import into StakeTracker.
Yes. Through our central database and out Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, we can ensure that the data is kept safe to the standards required by your jurisdiction. We offer escalating levels of permission, ensuring controlled access to only those people who need to view or work with sensitive data.
You own all of the data your team collects and inputs into StakeTracker. SustaiNet makes and has NO claim to any customer data whatsoever. Our customers can download copies of the data as frequently as they want directly from StakeTracker. The data is physically hosted on ‘hard box’ servers (not a virtual server) located in Toronto based data centre owned and operated by Tenzing Web Hosting. Tenzing, a wholly Canadian hosting company, conducts daily on-site and weekly off-site backups of all data.
StakeTracker is scalable to the size of your project and ranges from being sold as a single project edition to a multiple-project enterprise level system. Whether you are a large petroleum company with many projects in different states or provinces, or a small developer, we can create a software solution and pricing plan that works for you.
The best way to start is to contact us to arrange an online demo (via WebEx). We will review your company’s needs and can have your system configured and up and running in a matter of days.
